Raducanu entered the WTA circuit as one of the most talented young players in tennis. The 21-year-old won her first Grand Slam title at the 2021 US Open as a qualifier. Since then, however, she has struggled with form and physical fitness.
Through the ups and downs, she has remained a well-grounded person and cites her parents, both from academic families, as a source of inspiration. Being receptive to new challenges has become a hallmark of her success.
She told the room, “Just keeping an open mind—having an inquisitive, curious mindset—is something that I was always taught to do.”
